During my recent stay at Corner House Hotel, I had the pleasure of experiencing their culinary offerings, which I would describe as a delightful addition to my visit. Nestled conveniently near Jesmond Dene, the hotel's restaurant presented an innovative menu, adding a charming culinary dimension to my trip. For the main course, I opted for the 8oz Sirloin Steak paired with Grilled King Prawns in a Garlic & Coriander Glaze. The steak was cooked to my preference and complemented by a well-executed glaze that added a hint of sophistication. The accompanying festive delight, the Raspberry Trifle Cheesecake, was a sweet finish infused with fresh raspberries and thoughtfully presented with whipped cream and white chocolate shavings. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, which I appreciated as I settled in after a busy day. Although the service was friendly, it felt slightly understaffed, yet efficient. The variety of tipples-including new cocktails-paired well with the dishes and enhanced the overall dining experience. Corner House Hotel combines comfort and quality cuisine, making it a convenient lodging choice for travelers while providing good value for money. I would consider returning for their tempting menu offerings.
