During my recent stay at Corner House Hotel, I had the pleasure of experiencing their culinary offerings, which I would describe as a delightful addition to my visit. Nestled conveniently near Jesmond Dene, the hotel's restaurant presented an innovative menu, adding a charming culinary dimension to my trip. For the main course, I opted for the 8oz Sirloin Steak paired with Grilled King Prawns in a Garlic & Coriander Glaze. The steak was cooked to my preference and complemented by a well-executed glaze that added a hint of sophistication. The accompanying festive delight, the Raspberry Trifle Cheesecake, was a sweet finish infused with fresh raspberries and thoughtfully presented with whipped cream and white chocolate shavings. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, which I appreciated as I settled in after a busy day. Although the service was friendly, it felt slightly understaffed, yet efficient. The variety of tipples—including new cocktails—paired well with the dishes and enhanced the overall dining experience. Corner House Hotel combines comfort and quality cuisine, making it a convenient lodging choice for travelers while providing good value for money. I would consider returning for their tempting menu offerings.
